Father forgive me, for i know exactly what i do

i think that the worst form of foolishness is the wise who know better and decide against all consequences to sin anyway, that would be me, and the title is how i feel, far worse i think than sinful ignorance. But oh well, im gettin this out a little at a time. Today went to Kentucky for the Renfroe renunion, it was good to see the family. Notable foods were the deer barbeque and the WONDERFUL brownies i got sick off of lol. I really need to make a real effort to hang out with old friends more, there are alot to keep in touch with, but each of them is truely dear to me, i dont like this getting older and seperating thing.
Here are some notable quotes i have decided to post.
I hate having ideas and quotes in my head and forgetting to write them down, only to find later someone eventually said something similar, goes to show procrastination is the suicide of literary success, anyway.

"Now is our chance to choose the right side. God is holding back to give us that chance. It won't last forever. We must take it or leave it."

"We regard God as an airman regards his parachute; it's there for emergencies but he hopes he'll never have to use it."

"There are times when I think we do not desire heaven; but more often I find myself wondering whether, in our heart of hearts, we have ever desired anything else....Are not all lifelong friendships born at the moment when at last you meet another human being who has some inkling (but faint and uncertian even in the best) if that something which you were born desiring, and which, beneath the flux of other desires and in all the momentary silences between the louder passions, night and day, year by year, from childhood to old age, you are looking for, watching for, listening for?..." it goes on but its really long, you should read it all though, it touched me. those were all C. S. Lewis.

From the Second Lausanne Congress on World Evangelization 1989:

"No local church can afford to go without the encouragement and nourishment that will come to it by sending away its best people" - David Penman

"Jesus judge us not only for what we did, but also for what we could have done and didn't" - George Otis

"Far away is far away only if you don't go there" - George Otis

*and my personal favorite*

"I am immortal until God's work for me to do is done. The Lord reigns." - Henry Martyn

good stuff. God bless.
